Men’s Mentoring Circle
This mentoring group provides men an opportunity to share their successes, concerns, struggles and wisdom in a friendly, safe, and supportive atmosphere. We’ve learned that mentorship works best when it is multidirectional. While the group provides men an opportunity to receive the support and wisdom of others, members also find opportunities to provide support and wisdom to others as well. It’s common that men become aware that some of their struggles are unique to them as individuals, but that many of one’s issues are shared by other men. Any issue that affects the lives of men is open to discussion. Common themes that are addressed include relationships, intimacy, sexuality, self-esteem, stress and anger management, loss, life transition, meaning and purpose in life. The Mentoring Circle is a drop in group but many men attend on a regular basis. Although it is not required for this group, we urge you to email or call before you attend as we do cancel group in rare times when it is a holiday or if the facilitators are unavailable.
