Consultant team leader: Jon Davies, PhD.

Jon Davies, PhD.  is an nationally recognized speaker on men’s health and violence prevention. A licensed Psychologist, Jon has over twenty five years’ experience in counseling in university and community settings. A seasoned clinician and public speaker, Jon is the co-founder and former advisor of the Associated Student’s University of Oregon Men’s Center. He is the founder and current director of the McKenzie River Men’s Center in Eugene, Oregon. He and his colleagues developed the Men’s Center Approach (Davies, Shen Miller and Isacco, 2010), a unique approach to encourage men to live healthier lives and pursue masculine ideals that represent the individuals future goals and what our communities need from men.
